GUDMUNDUR JON JAMES (JIM) SOLMUNDSON On Friday, February 16, 2007 at the Gimli Community Health Center, Jim Solmundson, aged 69 years of Gimli, MB. Jim was predeceased by his father Somi, mother Nora and brother Hope. He is survived by his loving wife Christine; sons, Jamie and Kristopher; brothers, Raymond (Shirley) and Roy (Joan); sisters, Ruth (Norm) and Louise; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Jim was a truck driver for Gimli and Riverton Transfer and Lake Winnipeg Boat Works. He loved playing texas hold em at the Gimli Hotel and playing golf with his sons. As per Jim's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held. Gilbart Funeral Home, Gimli in care of arrangements.
